Owl and Tree Baby Blanket

Standard

Completed Baby Blanket

So this spring while I was losing my mind editing a documentary (here’s the link to the finished project! We Graduate People: Trans* Experience at Smith College) and completing work for my seminar plus two other high intensive courses, I still managed to squeeze in a baby blanket for one of my favorite professors and her partner before she had her baby!

I began the project on April 6, 2013 and completed it on June 11, 2013.

The pattern is as follows:

Two outer strips used the following owl pattern:

Cast on desired number of stitches (remember to include at least 32 for an alternating owl pattern with no space in the middle between them). I cast on 37 stitches, 11 for each owl, 5 for the middle and 5 for each side.
